Blog Update

Somebody at Adobe must've known that yesterday was Monday and that I was in need of a good chuckle. This is what popped up on my computer screen at work about mid-morning:

Gotta be the best dialog box I've ever seen.

"The only thing God didn't do to Job
was give him a computer."
—I.F. Stone

  1. That looks like a pop-up that we'd get from the AmFam IT Dept...

Is it just AmFam or does this happen to at everybody's work...whenever they're going to "run a patch" or "update" some software program overnight...the next day it never works as good as it did before the "upgrade."

I'm a huge believer in the theory, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." (read: Buffalo Wild Wings)

  2. What do you mean, TheKid? Computers never behave oddly, do they?

All of the systems I've ever used...both at home and at work...have performed seamlessly every minute of every day I was at the keyboard.

    Nooooooo problems ever!

  3. And then the next thing that happens is the Updater updater doesn't work, and it won't let you skip it and update with the old Updater, and it keeps nagging you every time you launch the damned software.

Why yes, I do just LOVE Adobe, why do you ask? (/sarcasm) (I can say it; I've been using @$%#ing!!!!! Photoshop since version 3.)
