Cold alchoholic beverages go better with the song than a Taco Bell meal.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31875254.post-86629757217437562292008-04-13T23:30:00.000-05:002008-04-13T23:30:00.000-05:00That is just not right. That is just not right.SimplyAmusingDesigns.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14590064227180913122noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31875254.post-9033381021557275942008-04-04T12:50:00.000-05:002008-04-04T12:50:00.000-05:00Man, I haven't eaten at Taco Bell in a couple of y...Man, I haven't eaten at Taco Bell in a couple of years. Yet I do like it. Anything tastes good with fire sauce on it - even crappy fast food.

Back in the MTV days, I never cared for this song. In fact, when it came on, I'd switch the channel. So for years, I thought the lead singer was that goofy-looking guitar player you see in the first few seconds of the video.

The song has actually grown on me since though. And I kind of like it now. I'm waiting for VH1 to have one of their "Bands Reunited" shows dedicated to Modern English.

The lead singer actually still tours quite a bit in the U.S.TWORIVERSWALRUShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00566745440702304518noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31875254.post-22235183885207496152008-03-27T09:32:00.000-05:002008-03-27T09:32:00.000-05:00Luckily I got some new music yesterday so I can ge...Luckily I got some new music yesterday so I can get this song out of my mind now.Simple Blog Writerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01374811624365397644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31875254.post-393002820158320692008-03-24T22:17:00.000-05:002008-03-24T22:17:00.000-05:00Back in '86 I did a stint at my High School radio ...Back in '86 I did a stint at my High School radio station. This particular song got played a lot by the other DJs. A lot. A whole lot.

One day I announced that I was putting it out of its misery. I gave it one last spin and then snapped the 45 in two on the air.

Unfortunately we had multiple copies so it was mostly symbolic - but it sure felt good.

SBAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31875254.post-64504287342125468862008-03-23T13:46:00.000-05:002008-03-23T13:46:00.000-05:00I had a recent Taco Bell epiphany, back in the sum...I had a recent Taco Bell epiphany, back in the summer I believe. I was about to sink my teeth into the second half of one of those flat octagonial soft shell/hard shell thingys (that's how I phrased it when I ordered) when, like a fiery comet from above, it hit me...

"This food is crap!!!"

Haven't been back since.

Yo no quierro!Jeffreyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01266585163385328660noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31875254.post-89587426490218062292008-03-23T08:58:00.000-05:002008-03-23T08:58:00.000-05:00Cheesy, melty, beefy, ricey, blah...I despise Taco...Cheesy, melty, beefy, ricey, blah...

I despise Taco Bell.

The food isn't very good. And "Pepcid" shouldn't be a staple in a person's diet.

Yet, I eat there regularly.

Why? There is nothing else open at 2am...

That's why.

I work stupid hours...seriously.

Ok.
